Equiverse Game Rules

These game rules apply to ALL game members - everybody who has signed up has agreed to these rules upon joining. Should anyone break them, they will be treated fairly according to the extent of the "crime". Newer rules are highlighted in red and made bold.

General Rules

You may only own up to three (3) game accounts. IP addresses are tracked, and you will have ALL your accounts closed - without warning - if you own more than three. Shared accounts are strongly discouraged. If you share an account with another member, it is at your own risk. Equiverse will not do anything to retrieve stolen horses, money, or any other account feature, if the account is shared. A shared account also counts as one of the three accounts you are allowed. You are strongly advised to be at least 13 years of age before joining. Anyone under the age of 13 should ask a parent before registering an account. No potentially offensive content is allowed on this game. This includes, but is not limited to, pornographic, racist or sexist materials and political or otherwise controvertial discussion. Everything on Equiverse is copyright to its original owner, unless otherwise stated. Content theft and plagiarism is not tolerated. No items (including, not limited to, horses, art, image manipulations), accounts or money on EV are to be sold for "real" currency (USD, GBP etc). This includes creating artwork (and other) off-site but advertising for sale on-site, and advertising in-game items for sale (and other) off-site. Any bugs that are discovered as a result of playing the game, or looking for bugs, should be reported immediately. If the bug could be exploited then it should be reported immediately to Abbey and not made publicly aware of. There is to be no scripting in any programming language, or off-site scripts, in order to cheat on the game. You may not attempt to sell anything that was not created by you - this includes but is not limited to artwork, writing, coding. Even if you have permission, it is too sketchy a situation to allow it to happen.

Chat Room/Forum Rules

Be considerate of other users - rudeness will not be tolerated.

Foul language and controvertial topics are not permitted. Topics include, but are not limited to: political, racist, posts of a sexual nature, or other offending content.

Harassment or spamming of another member's post will result in a fine and removal of all messages posted.

Do not attempt to scam or con any other member. This is treated as a way of cheating on the game and your account will be banned indefinitely.

Keep posts to the forum they belong in. Don't post a breeding advert on the General Board.

Read any sticky threads before posting - they may be important and relevant to the board.

Do NOT exchange personal information as it is unsafe (address, telephone numbers, anything more specific than state/province, etc).

I shouldn't have to put this here, but I will. Art Theft and poorly credited images will NOT be tolerated. If you are found to be constantly selling art that isn't yours, or hasn't been credited properly, you will be banned from the game.

- This symbol means that the player is a moderator. If you are found not to be following the rules then you can and will be fined, suspended or banned.
